Stay Hot, Aaron Rowand

Aaron Rowand Watch everybody... WOoooOOooOooo HoooOOoO Watch out he's on fire.

Aaron continued his recent tear at the plate, going 1 for 4 today, improving his average to .225 on the season. This brings him to 2-8 over the last two games, at this rate, even Bochy will have a hard time sitting him! What's even more impressive is Rowand's 4 hits in his last 5 games. This blog might have been premature, as what we are seeing is a "savvy gamer vet" hit his way out of a slump. He even showed plate discipline today, taking TWO sliders in his first AB before flying out and letting Barry Zito drive in the runners in scoring position. Yes, Rowands hit today was semi useless and he did leave 3 on base, but he had 0 strikeouts. Considering Cueto has a slider, that's pretty impressive.

Maybe he didn't throw it in the dirt enough...

Also in a two-for-one deal, Giants fans got a little side victory along with today's game. Rookie Buster Posey, who everyone has been calling to be the full time catcher, got his first start behind the plate this season. I know what you're thinking, why would a first base man be placed behind the plate? Bochy... sometimes he makes weird calls...

Bochy continues to follow Posey with Aaron Rowand, due to his recent hot streak most likely. Expected anything other than LOB for Rowand? Because you shouldn't as long as Posey's hitting in front of him.

Posey now has 15 hits in 33 at-bats over 9 games this season. In comparison, Molina has 15 hits in his last 27 GAMES.

The kid is all.
